About Me

In writing the "About Me" portion of this blog I thought about the purpose of the blog - namely, preventing the growth of Socialism & stopping the Death Of Democracy in the American Republic & returning her to the "liberty to abundance" stage of our history. One word descriptions of people's philosophies or purposes are quite often inadequate. I feel that I am "liberal" meaning that I am broad minded, independent, generous, hospitable, & magnanimous. Under these terms "liberal" is a perfectly good word that has been corrupted over the years to mean the person is a left-winger or as Mark Levin more accurately wrote in his book "Liberty & Tyranny" a "statist" - someone looking for government or state control of society. I am certainly not that & have dedicated the blog to fighting this. I believe that I find what I am when I consider whether or not I am a "conservative" & specifically when I ask what is it that I am trying to conserve? It is the libertarian principles that America was founded upon & originally followed. That is the Return To Excellence that this blog is named for & is all about.

Ron Paul's Consistency

As a follow up to the last message re the chance we would be taking by overlooking, accepting, or forgiving the inconsistencies of Newt & Mitt I have pointed out several times that only Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann, & Gary Johnson, of the current Republican candidates, have life long consistent positions so you know with a high degree of confidence what they will do if elected.  Click here to hear a compilation of Ron Paul’s answers in last Saturday's debate as an example of Congressman Paul's consistency.

  2. Ron Paul has my vote hands down... it is up to him to keep it that way... and I believe he will... and I'll be watching...

I met a couple from the Bernardsville party you went to a few weeks ago. I was handing out my FairTax business card to a Ron Paul supporter and this couple said that they had met you at the party...

Merry Christmas to you and Carol my friend...

  3. I agree with your comments - top 3 runners for president in Republican Party (Gingrich, Romney, Perry) have inconsistencies in their remarks. This bodes well for BO, especially when he promises people "goodies" to vote for him. From what I read public has very negative attitude for Republicans. They are also negative against Democrats, but on a lesser scale.

Ron Paul knows more about money and finances than the other three I mentioned combined. The three I mentioned have made numerous blunders in their speeches. In fact, the Star Ledger calls Gingrich "a nut."
