About Me

In writing the "About Me" portion of this blog I thought about the purpose of the blog - namely, preventing the growth of Socialism & stopping the Death Of Democracy in the American Republic & returning her to the "liberty to abundance" stage of our history. One word descriptions of people's philosophies or purposes are quite often inadequate. I feel that I am "liberal" meaning that I am broad minded, independent, generous, hospitable, & magnanimous. Under these terms "liberal" is a perfectly good word that has been corrupted over the years to mean the person is a left-winger or as Mark Levin more accurately wrote in his book "Liberty & Tyranny" a "statist" - someone looking for government or state control of society. I am certainly not that & have dedicated the blog to fighting this. I believe that I find what I am when I consider whether or not I am a "conservative" & specifically when I ask what is it that I am trying to conserve? It is the libertarian principles that America was founded upon & originally followed. That is the Return To Excellence that this blog is named for & is all about.

Grabbing All Of Our Stuff

Thanks to Congressman Frelinghuysen for passing along the list below of the twenty-one tax hikes that the Roberts' ObamaCare ruling leaves in place that will cost taxpayers between $675 billion & $800 billion over the next ten years according to the Joint Committee On Taxation – it all piles up as the statists proceed toward "grabbing all of our stuff" – quote by the inspirational Tea Partier Reverend CL Bryant.  Just compare the estimate when the bill first passed to the re-estimate now.

BO's plan is centered around poverty being an essential element of a society in order for tyranny to rule & he is hell-bent on making the American citizenry poor so that a tyrant controlling all of America's once-held wealth rules – namely him.  This becomes more & more obvious every day to any one paying the least bit of attention who can connect every third or fourth dot or who can add two plus two & get anywhere near four.

Now the Roberts' decision becomes more detestable to me every passing day – for so many reasons I have highlighted in these messages.  The latest despicable revelation is that the ObamaCare bill that passed the Senate had a list of new taxes that ObamaCare contained & the mandate-penalty that Roberts alone called a tax & used to justify the entire matter as constitutional was not one of them.

The tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee outlines the twenty-one taxes below (figures in billions) - a dozen of these, marked with an asterisk (*), target Americans earning less than BO's self determined rich categories of $200,000 per year for singles and $250,000 per year for married couples.  Please note that the additional taxes on the affluent (first ones on the list below) are not indexed for inflation meaning that it is only a matter of time before this will turn into another AMT-like problem for people who never thought of themselves as high earners.  In the meantime the hidden embedded taxes in many of the others on the list will be passed on to us immediately.

  1. Doug - you are spot on in correlating the need for poverty in order to set up control and tyranny. That has been BO plan all along. And he is in process of creating a new 1%- the ruling elite that replaces current largely capitalist top 1%. BO lies very smoothly that he is looking out for the middle class. Instead though he wants to shrink the middle class so in the end there is only a Dependency on Government class, and yes the new 1% will have an income and luxury gap much larger than the prior 1%. This is the guard of the proletariat that Karl Marx refers to.

In Ed Klein's 'Amateur' where he interviewed 200 with close ties to BO there is chapter 18 that discusses how BO got his drive to level the playing field globally. A key confident is Samantha Powers. She has a major role in BO admin for foreign policy. She is an intellectual who strongly believes the US has been for centuries an evil global force, and a root cause behind most pressing global problem. BO allegedly has a very similar global view. Therefore, destroying the US capitalist economy would also level the global playing field in addition to domestically. Connect the dots.

I truly hope more and more Americans will be able to connect the dots. It is so obvious unless one has their heads in the sand.
