We have a peaceful election scheduled for November so please make sure you are reaching out to every one you can to let them know we are about to squander one of God's two great gifts to the world – America. Doug: The ObamaCare issue is off the front page. No politician will touch it because its radioactive - AKA third rail. . .touch it you die. If you are searching for a reason to explain away the 41% ignorance gap you will need to find an apathy chart. I have a novel idea let's spend more money on education - that's the answer to everything. Washington is taxing us into poverty.

Doug - Yes it is incredible that 41% did not know about the SCOTUS ObamaCare decision. What do they read or watch? And what % know about BO's stealth plans to level the global playing field via Agenda 21? Maybe 5%?
But it is an opportunity for us to educate many not just a few, with tremendous upside. Even in traditionally blue state NJ we have a shot at defeating Menendez and also gaining seats in the HofR.
I will vote for Mitt. I have been encouraging many BO supporters to do so. I sure wish though that Mitt would make it easier to persuade BO supporters and undecided. His campaign is weak on specifics, does not champion free markets when we need it most (we are on the brink of Socialism) and he appears timid at times. Time to step it up Mitt.

I am inclined to agree with Response #3. Mitt campaign weak on specifics. (unless saving their thoughts later on in campaign.

As I see it, people know large deficits are bad - but as long as they receive their "goodies from gov't.,they do not care

I have to agree with responder #3. Once again, we're faced with voting for the lesser of 2 evils. Not that I think Mitt Romney is evil but there could have been a better choice. I hope that he gets some serious help with the campaign and gets the right message out loud and clear on a plan of action to bring this country back from the brink.
ReplyDeleteAs for the apathy out there--that's only part of the problem. The other part is the total lack of historical knowledge in the youth of today as evidenced by the recent man in the street interviews of young adults by Fox News. I wonder what schools they went to. My almost 14 year old grandson was able to name every President in order from Washington to Bush when he was 10 years old. One has to wonder---is it the schools or is it the students?
At this point my concern is the Supreme Court nominations. Not that Republican presidents in the past have done so great (except great they have done with Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and Sam Alito) but we know for sure what we will get with BO, with Mitt we still have a chance. I agree with ST, we should have had a better choice. Why did the Republican establishment go with such a flawed candidate?
